URBAN²

Thanks to the BEG-55 standard, URBAN² not only impresses with its location and modern appearance, but also in terms of energy efficiency. A thermally insulated flat roof with extensive greening meets vertical greening that benefits the microclimate, and the rear-ventilated wooden façade cladding meets an energy-saving air-source heat pump. The green building concept is also continued in the inner courtyard. The courtyard area, equipped with playgrounds and seating areas, is framed by espaliered shrubs, hedges and bushes and invites visitors to take a deep breath and linger. Of course, URBAN² has not only the environment in mind, but also the comfort of the future house community. They will benefit from contemporary amenities such as an elevator that will transport residents comfortably from the basement to the sixth floor. While the basement and first floor contain practical basement rooms, bicycle parking spaces and a commercial unit, the twelve condominiums are spread over the first to seventh floors. Each of the apartments is adjoined by one to two balconies or a balcony and a terrace, facing either Urbanstraße or the courtyard. The courtyard-facing balconies are zigzagged, giving the new building its own distinctive look. Meanwhile, planters, climbing aids and climbing plants provide the green touch typical of URBAN² and show that city life and natural diversity are by no means mutually exclusive.
