No matter which direction you come from, the façade at Luisenstrasse 45 is an eye-catcher. The six-storey ensemble of front building, garden house and side wing was built in the 1880s and offers attractive condominiums and commercial space. The listed buildings were carefully and lavishly modernised a few years ago and two attic storeys were added to the front building. In the course of the renovation, the two inner courtyards were remodelled and landscaped. In 2021, the stairwells will shine in new splendour, with the flooring, railings, doorbells, letterboxes and lighting all combining to convey an elegant ambience. Two elevators provide barrier-free access to the individual floors.
Well-designed space does not require a lot of area. This 43sqm one-bedroom apartment is the best example of this. Located on the fourth floor of the front building, it is easily accessible by lift. The floor was converted for residential purposes only about ten years ago, and the atmosphere is similar to a new-build, but dressed in the garb of an Altbau building. A panoramic window front with a south-west terrace extends across the entire width of the apartment. The fitted kitchen and the modern bathroom design open up a lot of living comfort for you - as does the practical storage room.
Right in the middle of the middle! The vibrant area around Luisenstrasse is one of the most exciting and liveable places in Berlin. With a long and varied history, the district has long been a bridge between the present and the future. In the immediate vicinity of COR MITTE is the control centre of German politics, the government district with its architectural landmarks, the Reichstag and the Chancellery. Many offices and practices attract a walk-in crowd from all over the city. Only a few steps away from COR MITTE is the Charité University Hospital, which enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide. The leisure value is not neglected either. Walks along the picturesque banks of the Spree and laps around the Tiergarten will be part of your new everyday life, in a prime location that is second to none.
