The Location

Haus Winterstein is located in Alt-Charlottenburg. Despite its central location, life here seems a little more relaxed. Perhaps because the distances are so short that there is never any hustle and bustle. It is 100 metres to the banks of the river Spree, and just under 600 metres to Charlottenburg Palace and its magnificent park. Several museums are only a few minutes away by bike, and the Tiergarten and Lietzensee are only ten minutes away by pedalo. Local amenities are also close at hand. Otto-Suhr-Allee with its many shops for daily needs is about 250 metres away. If the wide range of local shops doesn't meet all your needs, simply take the U7 or the M45 bus, which stops at Zoologischer Garten station, among others. On your way home, take a short detour to say hello to the river and wonder how you ever lived anywhere else.
