Though it is Brandenburg’s fourth-largest city, Frankfurt Oder is still relatively small, and this property is ideally located to the south of the historic city centre, a short tram ride away. Nature abounds, with Anger Park directly opposite the Lindenstrasse 34 entrance, the beautiful Lennépark just to the north, and the River Oder a few minutes’ walk to the east, with its pretty Ziegenwerder Island, a protected park. There are also a huge variety of cultural pursuits; Frankfurt Oder is home to the Brandenburg State Orchestra, the ‘Art an der Grenze’ festival, several theatres, and a thriving nightlife thanks to the thousands of students enrolled at Viadrina European University. If that isn’t enough variety for you, Berlin is only 80km away, with Frankfurt’s central train station a 10-minute walk from the property, not to mention Poland, and the city of Słubice, practically on your doorstep.
