Popular residential area in Neukölln
The existing, period building was constructed around 1900, in the typical Berlin Altbau style, with beautiful high ceilings, wooden floors and stucco decoration, centred on a front building and side-wing. This building was modernised and partially refurbished, including the restoration of the simple, bright façade. As if this weren’t enough, an entirely new, 6-storey residential building will be raised as an annex in the courtyard, contrasting wonderfully with the existing building to form a harmonious whole.
This spacious maisonette offers a unique and exciting floor plan, giving you the opportunity to realise your own ideas of life down to the last detail. The ground floor offers a spacious, open-plan kitchen/living room area, which receives a lot of light from the south. The second room to the courtyard is complemented by a small terrace where you can enjoy coffee, cake and the end of the day. A charming wooden staircase leads from the living room down to the lower-ground floor, where you can find two more rooms, which could be used as a hobby room or office.
Though directly next to the hugely popular, busy and hip Neukölln, Britz has more of a neighbourhood feel to it. With numerous local shops, restaurants and cafes, Britz is its own, self-contained community, with plenty of green spaces and nature to explore. Yet it is also very well-connected to the rest of the city, if indeed you have any reason to leave...
