Active holidays in the Chiemgau mountains

For active holidaymakers, the region in the border triangle of Bavaria, Tyrol and Salzburg is a true Eldorado. There are hiking trails, cycling routes, via ferratas and natural swimming lakes. One of the most popular activities in Reit im Winkl for climbing fans and hiking enthusiasts is a trip to the Chiemgau mountains. The hiking trails have melodious names such as Glacier View, Chiemsee View or Alpine Enjoyment and thus illustrate the scenic beauty and diversity that visitors can expect here. The most beautiful views can be enjoyed from the summits, for example on the Wetterkreuz, Scheibelberg, Dürnbachhorn or Fellhorn. There you can look forward to magnificent panoramas of meadows, mountain peaks and forests. A hiking bus takes guests to the four popular hiking starting points in the Chiemgau Alps.
